Will you help remove the struggles families caring for a seriously ill child face this Christmas?

Christmas is a time to create cherished moments with those you love. But caring for a seriously ill child can cause many worries and struggles – both emotionally and financially.

That’s why, with your help, we will do everything we can to give them the support they need to help remove these struggles so that they can spend less time worrying and more time building joyful memories with their child.

You can help parents like Donna who are caring for a seriously ill child

I worry everyday about Mary but I’m grateful for every day we get because I’m so aware that time is precious.

The extra demands of caring for a child with serious health needs can be such a struggle so, one day I reached out for Together for Short Lives and they’ve been there for us ever since.

They’ve supported me in many ways including giving energy advice and a voucher to help cover bills. This means we can stay a little bit warmer this Christmas. And they’ve always been there on the phone to listen to my fears.

Just knowing there are people that you can reach out to if you are having a bad day or a bad week is a lifeline.

Every moment of support you give to a family will be a gift

By donating today, you can help remove the struggles that families with a seriously ill child face and ensure they have a Christmas full of joyful memories.

Every time you help us pick up the phone, provide a food shop or cover an unpayable bill, you will be giving them a precious moment. A moment that is a gift to these families. Instead of spending time focusing on practical, emotional or financial struggles, you will give them time to create a Christmas as magical as it should be.

The support came at the best time as the only spare money we had went on a few presents for my child who we were not sure would even be here at Christmas.
