Give in celebration

A special occasion provides a great opportunity for you to help us support seriously ill children by asking for donations instead of presents at your celebration.
Whether you’re having a birthday, celebrating an anniversary or getting married, you can help Together for Short Lives support seriously ill children and their families.
Here are a few easy ways you can give in celebration:
- If you’re getting married, include our donation cards with your wedding invitations and ask guests to donate to Together for Short Lives rather than buying you gifts. They can return the card with a donation directly to us and we’ll thank them on your behalf. A couple of months after your wedding, we’ll let you know how much has been raised. Just get in touch with us if you would like some donation cards.
- Ask friends and family to donate to Together for Short Lives instead of purchasing you a birthday or Christmas gift.
- There are a few easy ways to set up a donation page online that you can share with friends and family through email and social media:
- You can set up a page on JustGiving
- You can use Facebook donate by going to our page and clicking ‘Create Fundraiser’.
- Hold a collection on your special day or event using our donation boxes and envelopes. Get in touch if you need any help or advice, or donation boxes and envelopes.
